Stand Out NI is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of the children, parents and families who attend our classes, clubs, workshops and events.

When you register your child with Stand Out NI, we may collect:
- Parent/guardian name and contact details
- Child’s name, age, school and year group
- Emergency contact information
- Relevant medical, allergy or additional support information that you choose to provide
- Photography and media consent
- Booking and payment information
- Any other information necessary to safely provide our classes and activities
How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
- Manage bookings, registers and class administration
- Contact parents/guardians regarding classes, payments, timetable changes and important updates
- Keep children safe and appropriately supported while attending our activities
- Respond appropriately in an emergency
- Organise performances, festivals, examinations and other opportunities where applicable
- Share photographs or promotional material where appropriate consent has been provided
We will only collect and use information where there is a legitimate reason to do so and in accordance with applicable UK data protection law.
Photographs & Media
Photographs and/or videos may be taken during Stand Out NI activities. Images will only be used on Stand Out NI’s official social media, website, promotional materials or relevant parent WhatsApp groups where the appropriate consent has been provided.
Parents/guardians can withdraw photography consent at any time by contacting Stand Out NI.
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or trade personal information.
Information may be shared with members of the Stand Out NI teaching team where necessary for the safe and effective delivery of classes.
Where required, relevant information may also be shared with a school, examination body, festival organiser, venue, emergency service or other appropriate organisation where necessary to provide an activity, safeguard a child, comply with the law or respond to an emergency.
We will only share information that is reasonably necessary for that purpose.
Keeping Information Secure
We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure and restrict access to those who need it for the purposes of running Stand Out NI activities.
Personal information will only be retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet any legal, safeguarding, insurance or administrative requirements.
