Terms and Conditions for Stand Out NI

General Information

We will only use the contact details provided through booking for the purpose of Speech and Drama lessons. Your information will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

Your information will be kept for a reasonable period as deemed appropriate by us. Should your contact details change, please notify us immediately. If your child stops attending classes and you wish for your contact details to be removed, please let us know.

In the event of an emergency, if we are unable to contact you and your child requires medical treatment, we will provide consent on your behalf if a medical professional determines that delaying treatment could harm your child’s health.

Payment Terms

By enrolling in Stand Out NI lessons, you are committing to a full term.

The term fee must be paid in full. A payment link will be provided at the end of the booking process, and your child’s place is not confirmed until payment is received. Proof of booking will be sent via the Class for Kids system.

If a refund is necessary, it will be issued by Stand Out NI and may take up to 10 days to process.

Refunds will not be provided once payment is made. In exceptional cases, or if a class is cancelled by the teacher, payment may be carried over to the next term. If a class is rescheduled due to issues outside Stand Out NI's control, no refund will be issued as the class will still take place during the school week.

Class Attendance & Waiting Lists

If a class is full, your child’s name will be placed on a waiting list, and you will be contacted once space becomes available.

At the end of each term, we may host a Speech and Drama party, with snacks provided. You will be notified in advance via email or text. It is your responsibility to inform us of any dietary restrictions or if you do not wish for your child to participate. If you prefer, you may provide snacks for your child, based on their dietary needs, by communicating this with a team member in advance.

Collection After Class

Please ensure that you arrive on time to collect your child.

If someone else will be collecting your child, or if your child will be attending another after-school activity or in-school childcare, please notify us in advance.

If your child will not be attending class, please notify us as early as possible.

Health & Safety

We are not liable for any injury or loss of personal property during class, unless caused by our negligence.

If a child becomes injured or unwell during a session, we will follow the school's policies and notify the parent or guardian when collecting the child. If a child is unwell or unable to continue in class, we will contact the parent to inform them.

Copyright & Website Use

You may print and use materials from our website for personal reference only. Any distribution or use for commercial purposes is prohibited.

Photography and Video

When enrolling your child, you will be asked for consent to take photographs and videos during Stand Out NI classes and summer schemes. These may be used for social media and promotional purposes, unless you specify otherwise. If you wish to withdraw consent, please contact us directly, and we will update our records.

Behaviour & Conduct

We expect all pupils to behave respectfully and kindly during class. If a child’s behaviour disrupts the class or affects other children’s learning, we reserve the right to suspend or discontinue their participation.

We will communicate openly with parents if a child’s behaviour is not in line with class expectations. If we believe the child is not benefiting or engaging with the sessions, we will discuss ways to move forward in a positive manner that supports the child's development.

Termination of Classes

You may withdraw your child from lessons at any time; however, please notify us as soon as possible. If you withdraw after the term has started, no refund will be issued for the remaining classes.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes.
